Hitachi 4 gigabyte microdrive----cannot get photos off!!! HELP!

Download photo recovery program for your computer. There are some frre ones out there online. Make sure you don't use this flash card in camera until you try again to download photos with a photo recovery program. If SD Card all photos can be recovered unless card was formatted twice.

Lost power lead

Sorry we do not sell parts here nor do we have a sure fire way to locate them for you from someone else. I personally have found eBay carries every kind of cable made of if you know what to look for.

Can't Find Hard Drive.

Go into the notebooks bios and see if there is a boot from USB in the boot sequence section. If there is, then enable it. If there is none, then it will never boot from an external drive.

Hitachi external hd 250gb SimpleDrive

The only thing left is the USB cable and the conversion circuitry between it and the drive connector. Listen to the drive. If it clicks a lot it isn't getting enough power from the USB port on the PC anymore. If it's OK, then it's back to the cable or the conversion circuit.
