My GO VIDEO_DVD_Recorder +VCR-VR3845 .The DVD player is jammed and can not be used.I have many dvd's recorded on this player. Is there a way to play these dvd's on other players.I tried to play

See if you can find the same DVR online, then remove the hard drive from your old one and put it in the newer one. Check ebay, if no luck, check the manufacturer's website.

Tray will not stay closed

This fault usually happens if the disc being read is not compatible with the player's firmware. If discs are burnt from a computer, or copies, this can happen. Does it do this with all DVD's? Are you using commercial retail DVD's? Otherwise something else is telling the player 'No Disk'. Try a disc-based lens cleaner as laser may be grubby. Or the laser diode could be defective.

Screen displays "Error data" when trying to play a DVD

My understanding is that the DVD player uses a different lens to the CD player. So the DVD lens might need cleaning. A CD lens cleaner would not correct the DVD side.

How to set my DVD/VHS Govideo player...

If you used to put the TV on channel 3 to watch the videos that means you had this hooked up with the RF RG6 COAX cable. You most likely had this passing thru the cable box and then to the TV, but with the new digital format that may not work any more. A quick fix for this is to take the coax wire from the player and hook it up directly to the TV Cable port then flip your tv to 3 and it should work. If you have an older tv without the newer connections you may have this port already in use with the cable box - if that is the case you may need to get an RF switch or splitter. hope this helps If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/michael_e7c2c48c6e65f808

I have a Go.Video DVR4400 and can you transfer info from a VHS TO A CD. I SEE IN THE OWNERS MANUAL THAT YOU CAN GO FROM CD TO VHS but nothing about going from VHS to CD of DVD

As far as I can tell only the VHS will record. The DVD/CD player is playback only.

The GoVideo DV2140 does not contain a DVD writer. It can only play DVDs and copy them to VHS tape. I wish that I had better news for you. The manual is available at ManualsLib here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/61649/Govideo-Dv2140.html . Cindy Wells

Dvd player will not load disk and play?

From your description it is hard to tell if the problem is from the disk or the player. Can you try another disk? If that loads and plays the problem is with the previous disk you tried to load. If there is a problem with the DVD player, it will be cheaper to buy a new one than try to repair. You can even find DVD players at some of the resale shops for under $10. Good luck.
