Theres not much you can do to repair the stem except replacing the small O-ring up inside. You can call Glacier Bay and ask for a new stem ( the faucet has a limited lifetime warranty. You can also use Delta faucet repair parts in your Glacier Bay kitchen faucet; they come from the same mold. Heres a link to Glacier Bay 2 handle kitchen faucet repair. two possible causes. 1- make sure the valve body is installed with with shower mark on the valve body facing up. 2 - if you used pex pipe and fittings to stub out for the tub spout this will restrict the flow sending water to the shower, '' change out pex pipe and replace with copper or galvanized pipe
First shut off water to the faucet. Most faucets have a screw on each hot and cold handle, remove the screw, then remove the handle. Now you should see a large Nut around the faucet stem, remove the nut, then the stem can be removed. Depending on the faucet you have, the ceramic disk can be replaced. Most faucet companies give a lifetime warranty on the disk, so you can order a new one for free if you have the warranty papers of the faucet, if not, you can usually get new parts on line, or at a plumbing store.
To remove the lever handle from a Glacier Bay two-handle kitchen sink faucet: Insert a 2.5mm hex wrench into the small hole underneath the lever. Work the wrench into the small handle set screw.Turn the wrench and setscrew counterclockwise to loosen. Pull the Glacier Bay lever handle off the faucet stem.P.S. You do not need to remove the screw to take the handle off.
first try and clean the air ratter where the water comes out the faucet it is a screen that un screws off the tip of the faucet. these can get clogged up over time from sediment and particles in the water. if the screen is fine then you can try and replace the supply lines to the faucet if that still doesn't fix it then you will need to replace the faucet because it has clogged up from minerals and particles in the water and there is no way to clean out the inside of the faucet.
Question edited for correct spelling of maker 'Noen' to 'Moen'.
'Fix' as in it is leaking? Or tighten it down because it is wobbly, or something completely different?
Well, we can have a one on one seminar by the internet. I've been a pumpman for 20 years. It is leaking due to a defective mechanical seal. It needs to be replaced. To replace it, is to take the pumpcase off by taking off the bolts that hold it. Then, take the impeller off to take the mechanical seal behind it. Put the replacement in, and reassemble the pump. Just get in touch with us by e-mail to get more assistance.
