Loosen the top assembly of the mic and see if problem is solved.If not , try to pull out the electronics board now connect the battery and activate the switch. If everything is alright your problem is caused by tight plastic enclosure which does'nt allow free movement of the on and off switch.

It sounds like the laser pickup is near end of life, as a last resort you can try a cd cleaning kit along shot at best. If this fails the player should be replaced, far cheaper in the long run.

All you need to do is get a couple of quarter inch jack plugs. Sometimes known as mono Jack Plugs. You solder the plus wire to the small lug and the negative wire to the larger lug. These jack plugs are different to the stereo ones used on headphones as there is only one black plastic band visible on the shaft, wheras stereo ones have two. You can get them from places like Maplin etc. Image below:Please note these come in different shapes and sizes to the one shown. The body of the plug screws off to show the lugs. You put the body on the cable before soldering!

If the turntable platter is visibly warped there nothing you can do to correct this, the only option is contact the manufacture and see if they would be willing to supply you with a replacement part at no charge, especially when you have been moving. They charge $180 but they cost them $20 to buy from China. Package them up and send them tracked and ask them to replace the batteries. How long is the warranty on AfterShokz? Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first. But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. If these suggestions don't work, you may try the manufacturer's customer support.
