My son took a dulcolax liquid gel cap but he chewed it when he couldnt get it down. He says his throat burns a little. WHat should we do?

I'm no Doctor so be advised of that, I've done the same thing before and it's no issue. It's just the medicine giving him a weird feeling, maybe it's numb or has a burning or tingling sensation but it's nothing to worry about. Tell him he'll be fine and give him something to drink(or eat, or both) and it'll "wash" the bad taste/feeling away. d4107023-48b7-4170-a892-7c149d94cd03-zqj5eswf00qaradeuhmjp1cn-1-0.jpeg

Help to unlearn inherited traumas past down from my parents.

My Dear, try to find a self help group in your area, in the subject that relates to you , or if you can afford it see a therapists. It is very difficult and painful to come to terms with childhood trauma, but be STRONG and Confident ,that you will do it. Keep telling yourself I AM NOT MY PARENTS! and REPEAT, I SHARE no blame. Do not allow them to continue to have power over how you feel. You are an adult now, and the child in the past is no longer you. You could also join a volunteer group to help others like yourself as you know what they are going through. Whatever you do, keep your chin up, you will make it through. Much love and happiness to you day by day.

We have a Welch Allyn Opthalmoscope. Despite being charged, the view is blury when we examine ears. This is consistent between nurses who use it. What is our problem and what should we do to fix?

There are many models of WA Ophthamoscopes... The PanOptic for example has a variable Diopter Adjustment to make it focus according to each person eyesight Is it possible that your model has a Diopter adjustment and it is set for someone with really poor vision? BTW: It is Ophthal not Opthal

I am having a problem finding whether or not Amanatadine can be taken at the same time as Methadone. Is it dangerous? What are the interaction side affects?

Diane, call your prescribing doctor, local pharmacist, hospital, or even a university-pharmacy school. Methadone is a very powerful (schedule II narcotic- opiate) that has its own serious side-effects if not taken properly, let alone when mixed with other drug medications. Usually a person who is prescribed methadone must be weaned off this narcotic slowly / gradually. Serious withdrawals can occur. The big concern with any combination of drugs, are their interactions with other drugs... like Amantadine. it can affect the efficacy of the drugs in the blood stream- either increasing or decreasing the dosages of either or. I am not a pharmacist, chemist, or any other type of medical professional- and I am certainly not trying to pretend to be one. But please, by all means contact one who is... and can give you a definitive and proper answer!
