When you say the 'eyehole', do you in fact mean the viewfinder ? As this is not an SLR camera, you would not expect to see exactly what the lens sees.

As for the other problem, it is clearly an exposure issue - are you remembering to remove the lens cap before using it ?

When you say 'on the image', is this when you look at the screen, or on the image downloaded to your computer for further PP work?

To know the compatibility, check in the manual. The cards are probably available on Ebay

Any digital camera records the date and time each picture is taken, storing this information somewhere in the JPG file, so you can stamp photos after uploading them on a PC. You can use Time To Photo software for example. It can stamp photos automatically in a batch.

You can find the manual here. They have some suggestions for shooting in low light:
  • Set scene to "NATURAL LIGHT" Capture natural light indoors, under low light, or where the fl ash can not be used.
  • or set Scene t "PARTY" Capture indoor background lighting under low-light conditions.
Use a tripod if available, or brace the camera against a wall, table, or other fixed object when taking pictures to reduce blurriness.
If you don't have an object to brace the camera against, use these techniques to reduce camera shake. Press the camera button instead of jabbing at it.
Search the internet for "low light photography" for more tips. The PARTY and NATURAL LIGHT settings on your camera should boost the ISO on your camera.
Do some test shots before hand in low light situations to see what works best.

First of all, I assume that when you say instructions, you really require a manual. You can download a manual for almost any equipment by Googling the make and model followed by the word Manual, then follow the appropriate link(s).

This is a great camera. I suggest uploading the photos directly from the camera to the computer via USB cable connection. The software provided by Fuji works well but is not necessary to do an upload.

Keeping the memory in the camera is safer and ultimately more reliable then switching out and back. Static discharge and connector damage can be a problem.

Keeping the photos in memory after transfer until the PC images are confirmed and backed up provides the reliability for priceless photos. After successful transfer and backup I will erase the photos from camera memory card before the next use.

The cable provided has two uses, connection to PC and connection to TV/monitor.

See page 86 and page 60,70 in the link provided of the Fuji manual.

Hope this helps?http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/manuals/pdf/index/s/finepix_s2900_manual_en.pdf

Fixya does not source nor provide spares or equipment of any nature. We attempt to offer helpful advice to enable people to solve problems. In your case, I should advise looking on Ebay for a source of the items you require - failing that, contact the importer of these products for your country or territory.
