My frigidaire oven bake or broil wont heat up stove top is fine
Good Afternoon James, I appreciate your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire range will not bake or broil but the cooktop is working properly. This could be a potential issue with your control panel or elements. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. Having a technician out will prevent any unnecessary part purchases. Best of luck! -Matt
Frigidaire gas oven f11 error rest 3 times still get error
The oven control is getting a stuck or shorted key signal. Depending on the oven model, you need to replace the keypad, the keypad membrane or the entire console assembly.
Please add a comment with the model number if you want me to find the parts diagram.list for your oven. I hope this helps.

Cooktop Locked Up!!
Got the same problem.
Here's a work around: Turn breaker off, second person needs to hold the CANCLE/LOCK button (keep holding it!)
Turn breaker back on and keep holding the button, lock feature may turn on, red lock light stays on, KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTON. At the end you will get a F11 (shorted keypad) warning. It may take up to 20 seconds or more but in my case the red lock light goes off, the dashes disappear and everything is back to normal.
Now here are the bad news. This does not fix the problem (I think it's the EOC). Every time the power goes off the red lock light and dashes will come back. It also may require to people to fix this/work around... but, hey, it doesn't cost anything either...
Stove won't heat
Oven was working, I had it on pre-heat, then I turned on the stove top, but the burners won't heat. When I turn on the stove top the stove makes a short BUZZ noise and the clock area lights up, when the burner is turned off all the lights go out. Please help, food prepared.
Thank You
Why is there black soot on the top of my electric stove top
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided you are experiencing black soot on your Frigidaire stove top. This could be items from your pan or pot falling and being burnt by the elements. You may also want to inspect the area around the stove to assure nothing is falling onto the elements. If you need further assistance please comment back and I would be happy to help you. -Matt

Frigidaire Smooth Top Range/Oven stopped working
for all others with this problem: I had the stove serviced. Repairman reported a loose wire to the elemets (tightened and did not fix the problem) followed by a stuck relay, and after some banging on the back of the control panel, the elements now work fine. He said if it happened again the only solution would be to replace the relay/control panel, a part of about $160, but I'll get credit for the price of the service call already paid. Compare to the price of the stove, I'll accept the $125 for the service call.
so tapping on the back of the control panel is worth a try if your stove is pulling this trick.
How to shut off F10 alarm on Frigidaire Gallery oven?
follow the next steps and proceed with commong sense: God bless you
Inspect the area around and behind the oven to ensure you
did not place the oven next to a source of heat, such as a register vent
or other appliance that becomes very hot. If this is the case, you must
remove the oven from the heat source to prevent the issue from
occurring again.
2
Inspect the oven to ensure all vents on the oven are open
and unblocked. This includes heat vents that vent to the outside of the
home. Remove any clogs from the oven's venting and check to see if the
code reappears.
3
Inspect all of the wiring harnesses that connect to the MCU.
Remove the back cover from the control panel with a screwdriver. Look
for disconnected harnesses or any harnesses with black residue on them.
This indicates an issue with the MCU. Remove the bolts that secure the
MCU to the control panel housing and then replace the MCU with a new
one. Reconnect all of the harnesses and retest.
