While watching DTV the screen goes blank then says

Unfortunately this may be a reception issue due to interference. Some channels may experience more interruptions then others depending on signal strength and what interference is in the area.
Two approaches are to buy an antenna that is bigger or one that is called “active” which will require an available power outlet. The other is trying to move the antenna outside, at the highest elevation as possible and clear of trees that may be between the antenna and the transmission tower, if possible.

You can identify the transmission towers in your area and the signal quality you may be receiving for channels. Use this information to justify what size of antenna you will need. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/chris_51d7c1b240c21e38

Evesham ebox was working fine and now won't turn on. any idea's? i've changed the fuse but thats as far as my knowledge goes.

Give it the old sniff test. If you smell something unusual coming from any of the vents, then there is probably a blown component. The capacitors on the power supply are a common failure point. If you don't mind opening it up and doing a visual inspection, see if you see any small tube like parts that are bulging or perhaps broken open. Obviously, only do this with the device disconnected from power. Speaking of power, double check that it's plugged in well and that other items plugged into the same outlet get power as I have had a surge protector where a single outlet stopped working.

How do I insert a DVD in to my Evesham novatech computer, serial no. WO00966604?

CD s and DVD s have a tray that slides out of the computer. When you get the tray open place the disk (writing if any usually on the top) in the tray, and gently press it down so that it is held by the deice in the middle. Either the tray will withdraw itself into the machine after about 10s or gently pushing it towards the machine from the front will cause the tray to enter the machine. Press the windows button and with your mouse click on My Computer click on the CD or DVD item and the file might open ... To open the CD/DVD tray or drawer either press gently on the front or press the little button on the front, or else go to My Computer (above) righ click on either the CD r DVD icon and then left click on open or eject on the drop down menu that should appear 19.December.2014

Need help finding part for Evesham desktop that want connect to my tv. i have found my motherboard model which is foxconn-945g7ma, however when i search for it on the internet i find two types Foxconn

You would only be able to connect that to your TV if your TV has a VGA connector, (also called D-Sub.) There is NO HDMI or DVI connector on any 'flavor' of that model Motherboard.

My Evesham want connect with my TV

Most modern desktops have more than one video port and not all are active all the time. Try using the other ports. If that doesn't work you might have a bad video controller. You can buy a replacement video adapter which will plug into one of your PCI or AGP ports. Make sure you know without a doubt what ports your have free before buying a card there are a lot of different ports. The manual is your best bet for knowing for certain what types of ports you have.

Power light flashes but PC will not boot up following power outage

First off: Protection is important and the ONLY way to go is with a UPS (Battery backup protector). These devices allow the computer to SLOWLEY close down and protect the motherboard and hard drives. Simple bar protectors are of little to no use whatsoever. As for the Start UP; the Boot Sector on the Hard Drive has been compromised. If you attempted to start with the F8 key when you started up the computer and failed to Boot in the Safe Mode, you definitely lost the operating system. You can try to do a Restore, but that may not be effective. When a Computer starts, there is usually a Beep (called a Post) and one Beep indicates the motherboard is active. Several beeps indicate a mal-function of the motherboard and it was damaged. In some cases, the Memory (RAM) can be damaged from electrical surge, and thus the computer will not start and the monitor will not be active. Do not touch the internal leads as they are not the problem. In closing, a CPU is very sensitive to power surge and the CPU in some cases can be defective. All in all, with so may options or repair issues; only a professional has the equipment to search for the solution. Good luck: [email protected]
