Switched on my Eureka Boss upright vacuum cleaner. Heard a pop and it wouldn't come on. Checked breaker box and everything okay there. Is there a fuse in the vacumm itself that could have blown?

There is not a fuse as far as we know, and the pop was a short either at the switch or motor. With the circuit open, you will not get energy to the unit, thus the only way to fix the problem, is to get it to a technical station so a repairman can trace tract down the source of the problem.

How do I deassemble the vaccum to see power cord assembly area to see if power comes to taht point

You don't, you take it to the shop and they fix it for you under warranty. And it's dangerous to play with power.

I have a eureka endeavor nls that does not have floor suction anymore although the hose is clear and the roller is working when on. what is going on...i am very frustraited because it is over heating

a vacuum works by sucking in air and passing the filtered air through the motor to keep it cool if the motor is overheating and there is no suction , then you have a blockage If you cannot see it take it to a service center to have it cleaned out

I have a Eureka The Boss Power sweeper but can't

Blowing air out of the right side? As in blowing air out of the right side of the hood? If its a light stream of warm coming out of the vent in the hood that's normal, its exhaust air from the motor. Now, clogs can occur at the outlet from the fan chamber. Remove the bag from the base of the machine via two screws. See if that area is clear and the tube going up into the bag unit is clear as well. Now, if the fan chamber is clear, inspect the fan for breaks or missing blades.

Eureka altima bagless

I experienced the same problem of being unable to remove the dust cup. Inspection of the dust cup appeared to indicated two tabs on the bottom of the dust cup preventing it from sliding straight out as illustrated in the instructions. However, after much fiddling, I assumed that the dust cup with the tabs was probably a slightly different part than actually intended for that particular model (2996avr) and so decided to force the cup out, reasoning that if the tabs broke in the process, that was necessary for removal of the cup anyway, and therefore not detrimental.

HOWEVER, upon forcing the cup out, the cup broke away from a plate upon which it is designed to sit. The cup had apparently become stuck to the plate after much use without sufficient care and cleaning. The plate is what the tabs are attached to, and so by breaking the cup free of the plate, the tabs were not an issue, and the cup easily slid in and out of the housing, as intended. It was also observed, upon removal of the cup, that there is a very slight lip on the front of the plate to secure the cup in the proper position; this would likely act as an additional hinderance if the cup was also stuck to the plate by old cemented grime.

How to replace the motor for the roller brush on the Eureka Optima upright lightweight 431

If you can hear the motor but the beater bar doesn't turn, it's the belt that needs replacing. If you don't hear a thing when it's plugged in and turned on, then you need a new vacuum. Besides, the part, if you could buy one, may cost half of what a new unit will cost. Treat yourself! Cheers, Chance San Diego, CA

My eureka airspeed pro started making a thumping noise. What could be causing it?

Thumping usually is caused by a brush roll problem. Start by testing and thoroughly inspecting this area.

I have a bravo 2 eureka bagged upright suction is very bad changed bag cleaned roller still bad what should i do next

Replace the belt if it is over a few months old. Even if the suction is great it won't pick up dirt very well if the belt is stretched out.
