code is for sensor A bank 1 --circuit malfunction===causes wiring ---CMP sensor --- ECM questions are --did you replace the correct sensor did you check wiring and harness connections

if engine is running with no faults it can be reset on a tec2 or just leave it after around 10-30 engine starts with no problems the light goes out.

Could be throttle valve within the throttle body has gunked up and is catching the decent cable. Try changing tranny fluid & filter. It can be the cause of many problems like that in transmissions. Gives a false reading on the throttle position sensor causing irregular shifting.

Sorry to tell you this but no. The front one is more expensive then rear one. To save a little money If you have a Auto Zone near you have them do a diagnose of it may only be one and not both.

Knock sensor is located in rear right cylinder head below to the right of the coil assembly, basically behind the drivers firewall and engine block behind the head
