all menus are covered in the manual ..
to set the terminal ID
scan enter terminal id
scan 2 digits form the options page to set the terminal type .
scan exit terminal selections .
most of the menus run in this same sequence .
for example to set the AUX port on a turbo 1 to RS232
Scan Enter General II
Scan Auxiliary Port selection
Scan a 0 (zero) form the digit colum on the Options page
Scan Exit Gerneral II

To check the unit acquire the interface cable for the terminal
or PC you wish to connnect it to . Power down the terminal connect the Turbo
Power up the terminal . The Turbo should be 2 times.
If you do not see the red light come on or do not hear the beeps the unit is not working .
A scanner is required to program the unit for the terminal or PC .
See the programming menus, Manual.

With ours, we have to press F1 and then Enter, then a location (in our case a Pallet Number, say M0100) - then we are able to start "zapping".

It might depend on your application, but I'd try downloading all the information you scanned more often than every 20K items. It's possible that you are filling up the memory in the unit and it won't accept any more.
