Coleman Cameras - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
I put in the program for the camera and uploaded some pic now I can not get to open to add any more pic It goes to a olympus program what now ??
Hi
When you connect the camera, the AutoPlay function is clearly set to start the Olympus programme. Not being an Olympus camera the programme probably doesn't work with yours. Close the programme down and go to My Computer (from the Start button).
Under My Computer you should see the Drives that are on your computer and the camera will probably show up as a removable drive. If you open up the folder tree for the camera you will probably find a folder with a number of jpg files. These are your pictures and can be "drag and drop"ped to your My Pictures folder. If you check that the pictures are safely on the PC, then you can delete them from the camera using the normal file delete procedure to leave space on the card for more pictures.
If you have a card reader you can use My Computer in the same way without having to have the camera turned on and using up the battery.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers
How do I download the pictures from my Coleman C5WP?
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
My open view is not showing any pictures but showing information about programs playing what might be the problem
Some steps you can try:
Check Picture Location:
Ensure that the pictures you want to view are in the same folder location. Sometimes, if the images are scattered across different folders, they may not appear correctly in the photo viewer.
Repair or Reset the Photo App (for Windows 11):
Go to Settings > Apps > Photo.
Click on Advanced options.
Choose either Repair or Reset to address any potential issues with the Photo app.
Enable Thumbnail Previews (for Windows 10):
Open File Explorer Options:
Type "file explorer options" in the Windows search bar and select the first result.
Switch to the View tab.
Ensure that the option "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is unchecked.
Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
That is about all I can offer. If you repost, include brand and model.

How do you turn on Digivue1.3? Has new batteries and used a while ago but pressing 2 button (Mode, Set) do nothing.
This is going to take patience and maybe the user guide. To turn on the Digivue 1.3, follow these steps:
Connect to Your PC:
Connect the standard USB cable (supplied) to a free USB socket on your PC.
The end of the USB cable should be connected to the socket on the back of the USB digidock.
Important: Do not connect any of the cabling provided with the Digivue before commencing the software installation.
Install DigiConnect Windows® Software:
Insert your Digivue into the docking station.
If you are connecting for the first time, a Red LED will display in the Activity Window of the Digivue.
Insert the CD provided into your optical disk drive. It will run automatically, and a dialog box will appear.
If the autorun feature is disabled on your system, browse to the disk using Windows® Explorer and double-click Setup.exe.
If you have a multilingual version of Digiconnect, you will be prompted for your language. Select from the list and click "Next."
Accept the terms in the License Agreement and proceed with the installation.
Choose the folder for software installation (default is the standard location for Windows® programs).
Click "Install" to begin the installation.
Leave the box labeled "Launch DigiConnect" ticked and click "Finish."
Wait for the Red LED:
Wait until a RED LED appears in the activity window of the Digivue.
You may now proceed with the next steps.
If you encounter any issues during this process, refer to the detailed instructions in the Digivue User Guide on page 9
