Sounds as though you have a problem with the DVD disc,if you go back to the dealer they will more than likely replace it under customer satisfaction.

You have to subscribe to update it via online, but most don't need a new map, maps don't change all that often. Newer models you can get an update but like I said, maps just don't change that much.

I have the same issue. Started a few weeks ago by locking up the unit while using the nav. Then the nav app will not load at all. Any luck on getting a resolution?
