Remove the intake manifold, valve covers, rocker arms, push rods, lifters, water pump, timing cover, timing chain & sprockets, camshaft. Replace the lifters with the cam. I hope this helps. Take care. If you have more questions for me use testimonial and it will show up in my email.

The fuse is in under hood fuse and relay box, on drivers side. it should be # 34, and they are mini fuses, Try this link. You have a fuse center in the trunk, alos located in the end of dash

Hope you can read diagram? The upper fuse to the left is hot all the time and carries voltage to stop switch, orange wire. When switch is activated, the white wire goes hot, voltage to vehicle stop fuse, I/p fuse box. voltage from that fuse goes to lower rear stop lamps. At the lower rear stop lamps lite blue wire is voltage, black is ground. I looked at info for Silverado 2500. I'm not sure I answered your question?

Other possibilities:
  • Repairing or replacing the wiring connection to the camshaft sensor or the OCV
  • The oil control valve (OCV) has a restriction in the OCV filter
  • The engine may need to be decarbonized after repairs are made (seafoam might not be enough)

Can park be selected by going under the vehicle and manually pushing the gear selector into the park position?
