Casio Ceptor - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

My Casio wave ceptor keep resetting itself like this when the bottom right (D button) is pressed. I need to make sure I reset the city code or before trying to receive as it defaults to Tokyo. Press & hold the top left (A button) and date changes to city code. Scrole through codes using right bottons.
Hope this helps.

I had the same problem this week and after downloading and reading the operation guide, I found the "adjusting the home positions" procedure in page 2, I followed the instructions and now my Casio 4303 is up and running, I got the operation guide from: (thanks to jeffw284 for the information).
I hope this helps to solve your problem.
Best regards.

If you haven't got instructions on how to do this, you can get
instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "".

Select "support" and the "manuals",

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

You can align the analogue time with the digital time by pressing the mode button until you reach the hand setting position (HS) and then press one of the right hand buttons to change the hand position.

(Check out this with the instructions- it is all there!)

Take a look at
I see that this watch gets it's time signal from Boulder, Colorado so it will only work properly in North America. Perhaps they also do models for the European market - if so I would expect them to work in the same fashion so the manual should still be relevant.

I tried putting your module number in (3054) and was able to download the instructions.

Try the following link . This was successful in finding the manual you require.

Good luck and a happy new year.

take it to a jeweler and they will send it to casio to remove a link. The clip may have movable anchoring points . You need a pin to push in the pins inside the link on both sides. then move the link and re anchor the band under the clip.

You have to know that analog time "follows" digital time.Any hour/minutes correction on the display has direct effect on time/minutes hands. Some times, mostly after battery replacement, hands might have declination. That is why there is a function so called "Hands home position adjustment".Using this function you can align both hands to 12/00 position. If there is any declination (I think is your case) you can correct.Try to enable this function by pressing for 4-5 sec the upper left button(A) until "HAND SET" appears. If hands are not aligned exactly to 12/00 position, you must correct by pressing the lower right button (D) for forward movement or the upper right button (B) for backward movement. In fact, minutes hand is aligned, hour hand follows. When both hands are set to 12/00 (home position) press button A again.Time Mode returns to the display.Normally hands will now show exactly according to digital (display) time.I hope this will help.

I take mine to a watch dealer to get the right, freshest battery from someone with the right tools to install it. Peace of mind.

The red circle is the strength of the receiving signal for time calibration! The 3 sectors are to measure the strength of signal! 3 is max strength and 0 is no strength!

you only have to set it to real time.
