PRIMO BOTTOM LOAD WATER DISPENSER, BLINKING LIGHT

We started getting a blinking light... indicating the jug needed replacement... after installing a full jug. The unit would cycle, then the red blinking light would come back on. Upon careful inspection of the feed tube and lines, it was realized that the plastic line on the intake of the pump body had been inadvertently pulled out just slightly (presumably from jostling the jug around during replacement). I believe that this breaks the seal the unit requires for suction, and caused the fault. I simply pushed the (white) plastic line back into pump body and heard an audible 'click'. Unit works fine now. I hope this helps, as these units are not exactly cheap.

The noise is normal during regeneration and draining.
You can manually set the regen clock to a different time.

Make sure you have enough water pressure for the dispenser. Most RO water filter systems require at least 40 PSI line pressure.

TFC membranes remove most of dissolved solids from your water and usually is the longest lasting filter cartridge in any ro system. When properly cared for, membranes in your hydrosense system can last 1 to 3 years.

Allowing chlorinated water to enter the membrane by not changing the carbon filters on time, allowing the system to freeze, accidentally running hot water through the system or allowing the membranes to dry out are the most common reason that will cause the membranes to prematurely fail.

You can easily test the membrane using a pocket TDS meter available at any local hardware store. After passing through the hydrosense system your water should have more than 90% of tds removed.
For example, if your tap water reads 100 ppm tds, after passing through the system it should read 10 ppm or less.
If the reading is higher, then replace all the membranes in the system along with pre-filter cartridges.

Mark and unhook all the tubes from the filter. Take it out and place it on a table horizontally. This is all about correct leverage.

While holding the reverse osmosis system in one hand, slide the wrench into a canister and turn it counter-clockwise.
If this still does not work, you may have to soak the filter canisters (bottom housing part ONLY) in warm water with vinegar and try the steps above again.

There might be a low pressure sensor inside the purologix system that is preventing the cooler from dispensing water. In that case you may need to install a booster pump to increase water pressure into the storage tank of the ro system.

Check if you installed the ice maker correctly as well.
