Set up your iCloud email using these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864. Then see if you can sync contacts and calendars using SmoothSync for Cloud Contacts and SmoothSync for Cloud Calendars. You'll have to see if it's compatible.

If you install the wrong version of firmware, it will no longer work. I would speak to the supplier and ask for a replacement as it is new.

Try this:

On the screen where it says "Sorry, the computer boot certificate has expired and the machine is now locked" press "DEL". Now it says "Entering setup" but nothing happens. Then press "CTRL+INS" and you will enter setup. Now change the year to the year 2000 and save the changes. Your PC should now boot normally until tou change the date again. I have found no solution to that yet,
