Photography - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues

It is not a good idea to put a camera, or indeed any optical equipment, in a dishwasher.

You don't normally rent film - you purchase a roll, take your photographs, then have it processed so you can see the results

Are the images of the correct size / format for the frame to read ?

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

I am guessing it may of been lying around for a while, some of the parts have stopped moving right, a good strip and service will solve it. There was a manual to service these years back or take to a service agent

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Thanks

This is as close as I got to removing part of the head from the V-0554 model because I need to repair the tilt angle setting clamp/handle. On the side of the head where you find the handle, there are two plugs you can remove to reveal 2 phillips head screws. Remove those and the head can be parted, left side from right side but take care to contain the loaded spring in the quick release lever. I've damaged the plugs trying to pull 'em out but that part doesn't bother me. If it bothers you, take better care in extracting them--it ain't easy. :)

Hello, Joyce -

I have no idea what medical procedure on your eye you are referring to with the phrase "film vacuum from my eye."

Are you asking about surgery to remove a cataract from your eye? If so, then, based on my husband's experience, the answer is no. His doctor's office made sure he had a driver (me) to drive him from his out-patient cataract surgery. They were required by law to make sure he did not drive himself from his surgery appointment.

I suggest you contact your doctor's office and ask your question.

Note: Fixya.com, where you posted your question, is a website intended for asking and answering questions on how to go about REPAIRING THINGS.

Best wishes.

The quick release is actually built into the tripod head, so you may need to replace the entire head. If it has standard 1/4" thread, this should be quite simple.

How to Unlock an American Tourister Suitcase's Number Lock

<b>• Place the suitcase right side up and look at every number wheel to find a hole at the bottom.
• Bring the holes of the three wheels in the same position.
• Now keep holding the button as to unlock and rotate the 1st wheel and reduce its number by 1.
• Repeat the same process with the rest of the two wheels.
• Again start with the 1st wheel and reduce another 1 position.
• Repeat the same process with the rest of the two wheels.
• Attempt the whole process for the third time and your suitcase will get unlocked.

Digital photo frames are interesting products, giving you the ability to display a variety of ever-changing digital photos in a frame, rather than just hanging one photo on the wall. This is a great way to showcase all of your favorite family photos at once where everyone can see them, versus having them hidden in a scrapbook. There's certainly nothing wrong with scrapbooks for storing photos, as these will provide a more permanent option versus a digital photo frame, but the digital photo frame can be a nice companion.
While most of them work easily, there are some tricky aspects to using some of the digital photo frames' advanced features.

you have 2 choices re tripods.
1. a normal pan and tilt photographic tripod, cheap and easy to use.
2. a Equatorial tripod, much more expensive and more difficult to use but can be setup to track the movement of the earths spin.
I use a photo tripod as its easy to use and quick setup.
