Put mailing tape across the screen then lift it off. I think that the sceens get stuck together and when you take the tape off it "unsticks them". If that doesn't work you can try to shut down and restart your phone.

IF you carry that in a pocket, dirt and lint can plug the small opening for the microphone. I have seen other things cause the opening to plug up also, including make up, chocolate, wax etc. Also the microphone is exposed under that small opening and it could be damaged by moisture.
