Video Cameras - Popular Questions, Answers, Tips & Manuals

hi Dstein556.
As long as the files are related to the films and any other files you have saved, then yes you can.
but if you are still not happy to do this then just delete mts files first and check to make sure all is well,if so then delete the cpi files.
again if your still not sure then, then just copy the files mts cpi to a disc.then when you have done that.if anything goes wrong you can put the files back if needed.
or if you have enough space with leaving the mts and the cpi files on there then just leave them there.
but what ever you do will be at your own risk.

if the drivers fail to install on win7( no longer supported by Microsoft) try going to the publisher web page and downloading the drivers direct from there for win 7
if there is no microphone connection shown by the product before installation, might I suggest a program that has that connection listed or find out if a mic driver for the michrophone would solve the problem

Try to use Image Capture app... it should find your camera and let you pull the video from the unit. Otherwise you should be able to use any video editor to pull them across. If they are in SD format, you can put them into a media adapter rather than trying to transfer them through the camera - just pull it directly from the card (its a bit quicker sometimes).
