Playpen mattress buckles
Please contact the company that you purchased it from, and ask for a refund, as soon as you can...these can collapse on your child, or like mine, get stuck in it. Just from me to you, get a better playpen...look up the injuries that happen with these types. Better safe than sorry, hope it works out for you...Michelle~

Jumperoo does not spin
WD40 is a bad choice as a lubricant. The "WD" stands for "Water Displacement" - while it is an oil and will lubricate, it's mainly designed to drive out water from a wet ignition, rusty joints etc. It also has a tendency to attract and hold dirt/dust.
Silicone spray lubricants are the best option. I often find when I buy something for the kids, the moving parts don't move as freely as they should. Spraying silicon lubricant right into the joints (hinge, axel, etc) and working the joint vigorously usually works.

How do they work
The basic loop is simple:
Get to sleep
Then you need to work in a "change clothes" subroutine, which runs once/day, or when the outfit is filthy.
But while that loop is running, you need to frequently:
Maintain eye contact
Talk (content not important; babies hear high pitches better)
Play (Peek-a-boo works with a wide range of ages, but basically any repetitive action delivered with a smile will amuse a baby)
And snuggling. Lots and lots of snuggling.
