Husky Pro 26 gallon air compressor ~ how do I
yes, loosen that bolt after you have built up a little bit of air in the tank, it will blow the water out , when the water quits coming out, tighten it up and your problem is over.

Motor hums till reset swithch pops/just put a new
With no air in the tank, and the motor will not start indicates that the starter capacitor may have failed or the bearings of the motor are allowing the rotor/armature to lock against the stator. If your compressor has a belt, remove the belt and try the motor. If it still does not turn, try spinning the motor then turn on while still spinning (use caution). If continues to turn, most likely capacitor, if it stops /locks when you turn-on while spinning, check bearings. If your compressor is pump/motor together suspect bearing on the pump side of motor. Some motors have a primary start winding as well as a run winding. Inside the motor, there are contacts that my have welded together. Good luck

Hello , i found an awesome deal on the internet
Too small,on CFM
If your spending less than $400 to 800,forget it
I had a Campbell Hausfeld for 30 years,with 20 gallon
I replaced it with an upright,30 gallon
I do not use an impact on wheel nuts, ever, and I use a torque wrench set at 80# going on.
That has worked for me,damage free for 35 years.
What kills the air,is the air chisel and worse, the cut off tool, which you will use the most.
Make sure what ever you get, uses oil,the oil less units last about 3 years.
Two stage is best, but I still have a single
Has to be wired for 220 volt, unless you like paying the electric bill
So hope you have circuit breaker and 1900 box branch circuit wiring experience
Forget the gas engine, unless your going on the road every week
You need about a steady 100# to really run any air tool--so that translates to about 10 CFM,little pricy

Backfire out exhaust
You will need to adjust the intake and exhaust valves to eliminate the backfiring. This is common to all small engines. I suggest every two years under normal use to adjust them. .008 thousands is standard on most Briggs engines although I would Google your model number on the web to find out for sure. The valves have a lock not that simply loosen so the nut below that can be turned for the clearance to gap.
The valve cover has screws that remove to gain access to these valves. Silicone sealer can be use to make a good deal for a gasket as well

Hello, my 8 gal briggs &stratton wheelbarrow
Your unloader valve isn't unloading. This valve is supposed to stop the compressor at (likely) around 125#. If it's one that you can service, try adjusting it back down to 125# - if not serviceable, it'll have to be replaced. Make sure that your pressure line between the valve/tank/governor is intact and not kinked, too.
I'd like to know how this one turns out, please!

I need a head valve seat for central pneumatic 21 degree angle framing nailer model 60828 also need headvalve seat for 34 degree angle finish nailer 68020
I have not been able to purchase replacement parts for these nail guns , however, have repaired them using parts from Bostitch framers and or just make the part. If the seal fits over the top of the cylinder, then try using seal from Bostitch framer part #N70155 fits a bit tight but works. Heat with a hair dryer to soften and install. If the seat is incorporated within the head valve, just dig it out and replace it with liquid two part urethane. Just mix and pour it in. After cleaning out the old seal, place head valve on level surface and pour in the mixed urethane till slightly over full to give the seal a nice crown. The finish nailer might also be repaired using other brand of seals. Remove the old part and take it to service center for a possible match. Good luck with your repair.
What oil should I use in Handiair H8/25 Compressor?
Many air compressors use a mineral blend or a synthetic oil, such as synthetic hydrocarbon, polyol ester or polyglycol. It is important to use a lubricant specifically rated for air compressors; do not use a general-purpose motor oil used for automotive or other purposes.
Read your user manual for more information.
