After cleaning the fan it won't power back up
wow... you must have got it really wet ! but if that is why it is not working now, then set it out in the sun for a few hours, or put it in front of another fan. hope this helps. post if it does. There are other problems it could be and I may be able to help with that as well. first things first. good luck. Tim

My baioniar fan not work properly only swing but
I found my own solution for fixing my fan, I took the cover off of the fan by removing the base, and the three screws that hold the cover on, I cold start the fan by turning it on and forcing the blades to turn, But that was the only way it would work. What I found was at the top of the shaft that goes through the fan there is a rubber cap that holds grease it is held on with two screws , The grease in the cup was hard and wouldn't let the fan move freely, So I cleaned out the old grease and put in some new grease that I had here it is grease used for my pool pump motors to keep the seals soft so this grease wont get hard. I put the fan back together and it is working fine. I hope that this works for you.

Bionaire bt16 towerr fan not working. Only slight
Possible that the capacitor is weak and so does not power the coils to turn rotor. you will need to check the free movement of the blades, is no use some oil to free the rotor blades, if the blades are free then check the continuity of the coils specially if they are heating up , if so check the capacitor.
