There are going to be some burned out parts. That is too much voltage to run it under. As a rule of thumb, you keep the same voltage, and can increase the amperage, and still stay alive. The amperage is provided as needed by the electronics. It will need to be opened, and parts tested and replaced.

Both yopur programs aren't certified to work on anything newer than XP. To make them work in 7 you must get the XP mode (which is basically a fully operational XP install running inside 7) and install your Avid programs in it.
But XP mode is officially available only to Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate versions so you will need to upgrade your Home install .
If you can't afford to upgrade you have the possibility to create yourself an custom XP mode as explained here

They claim the swab test came back with no DNA. This same test done at another facility had no problems in reading the results. How can you swab your cheek vigorously for over a minute and claim no DNA was on it. Then they want you to go to a lab and draw blood for them to test which costs you more money. They did offer to send another swab, which I thought was nice, but no thanks...what a waste of money.
