Hello

Should be 2 black and 2 white wires -- each of these wires should be connected to the 2 connections going into the Thermostatic Control Knob. Hope that helps -- IF you still are unsure, then CONTACT ANVIL or VOLLRATH and they will email this to you. Hope that helps, Jon

My anvil electric grill not

Could be a couple of things. First check to make sure you have power. Then after checking that open up the bottom with the power unplugged and check the heating element with a OHM meter. Don't know about a OHM meter or Multimeter is, then go on google or YOUTUBE and learn how to use one and if you don't own one, borrow one -- WHile in the OHM meter range check by putting each of the wire leads to each of the heating element ends, IF it registers O.OO, then the problem is NOT the heating element, but could be the thermostatic KNOB CONTROL. IF it is knob thermostat, just order a new one and VOILA! You're back in business!~ Hope that helps, Jon

Hi, When I try to use

No the problem is not with the machine, its with the load on the circuit in your home. You have too many high rating items plugged into the same breaker. Try moving the load around to see if that helps. You could also use another outlet to try your sandwich maker on it instead.

If you have any older home, you may not be able to solve this problem without calling an electrican.

What type of power souce

Hi there.
Voltage and ampere or current rating can be verified on unit's nameplate and or Owner's Manual so better check these first before using or connecting the unit to a power source.

Regards.

One heating elements works fine.

It means that it gets no power and it is probably either having a loose contact ...or it is dead and need to be replaced..To know that for sure .if you are handy enough ..open it ..power it up ..and use a power measurement tool to see if it receives power at the entry and if there is any when it gets out .....also check the power line at the switches in and out to locate a possible defective one ..Be careful cause this is a high voltage powered device ..
