Hi, Please move any speakers away from your device. If you have any microphones or even microwaves, please move those away from the alesis device as well. These can cause interference which leads to the white noise that you're hearing. Thank you.

2 Things could be going on there first the LCD back light you might be able to get it off Ebay second it could be a battery needs replacing which i doubt since it does power up.
