I have no tension on my bobbin as it winds and it winds unevenly. I have a Janome 10001. Lightly pinch the thread and guide it as the bobbin winds.

Bobbin winds unevenly and very loose Make sure that you have the right size empty bobbin, also, slow down. Most people go too fast, hang on the the thread tail until it actually starts to wind.
