touch screen not working properly is a fault with the membrain on the tomtom screen . Could be a fault on the membrain or just dust and dirt particles trapped under and around edge of the screen bezel

TomTom is left in a cold car overnight after a warm / hot day where moisture can form under the touch screen membrain. This moisture can move around making random inputs to the screen. Hope this helps
