1966 big block chevy spark wire diagram 1, 8, 4, 3, 6, 5, 7, 2 is the firing order for the big blocks.  Depending on which exhaust manifolds you have, will determine if you need to tuse the block

... plugs, wires, coil, battery and cables. The car didn't do that before I put in a new ignition switch, but I can't imagine that has something to do with it. Or does it? check points--timing vacuum ...
