Mastercool evaporative cooler and the water is on, but not getting to the cooler on top of my house. Not sure why? The pump is probably gone. the way it works is a float allows the water level to stay

float valve is stuck or has some object blocking it so it cant cut off the water flow..( adjusting the float hight, or cleaning will solve this) or could be the plastic inserts that carry the pads are

float or valve doesn't malfunction. If you were away when such failure occured, The water would motr than likely find places to go which you eould prefer it not. Summary: It's a backup flood avoidance

Mastercool was quality stuff, but not it is not so for this rather flimsy float valve which cannot hold the water level no matter how carefully it is adjusted. have you called the maker they will tell
