Hannspree 19" HF199H LCD - Display is LARGE on monitor! I have a laptop that I used a docking station that the monitor is connected to. I moved something and all of a sudden the display on the monitor

Trying to hook up hannspree hf257 monitor to vaio ar 730 e/b with hdmi but laptop keeps resetting. untill I disconnect hdmi cable then laptop starts normally. Returned monitor to Bestbuy.
