engine light wont shut off by itself u have to have it cleared with a scanner or disconnect the negative battery cable.. if it still stays on then u have a hard code and a problem with the vehicle....
check fuses of nisan quest if you can find fuse box then with a test light earth clip to a good earth location(metal ign key works)touch pionty end of test light to one side of fuse then to the other.
