lights on the front of printer now continually flash alternating orange and green. followed directions in manual; unplugged usb, switched off printer, pulled out mains plug and waited (about 1/2 hour)

flashing green orange lights There is many reasons for that, are you printing any thing??? Just restart the printed and see if lights turned off.... Alternatively flashing green & orange LED's ...
