how many mb equals a gb In simple terms, 1000 MB = 1 GB More accurately, 1024 MB = 1GB btw a Mb is not the same as a MB! and a mb does not exist. 1024 Megabits (Mb) = 1 MB (Mega byte)

1GB, the other 512MB what is the difference or how many exposures on each A GB is 1000 MB, so your 1GB memory stick is about twice as big as your 512MB stick and will hold about twice as many pictures
