suzuki gsxr 1100 Would a 1988 motor fit into a 1989 suzuki gsxr 1100. Are they the same? same motor just different power outputs

1988 750 gsxr. bike not running for a while. Cleaned out carbs. It starts but doesnt rev. also fuel tap has 4 outlets only 2 go to carbs were do other 2 go try to put in high octane gas 93.
