I have a Toro S200 with electric start. The starter runs but does not turn the geared flywheel. Should there be a geared wheel on the starter axle to engage on the flywheel? If so, mine is missing. Or, does the starter depend on the friction between the starter and the flywheel to tunr the flywheel? If so, can I replace the rubber type washer? Where can I get the parts. If the washer is my problem, I assume that I can remove the axle end cap and replace the washer???

I bought this mower new about 5 months ago. A few weeks after I purchased it, I noticed a problem with starting it. Finally, it quit all together. I tried charging the battery, but it would not charge. I then replaced the battery and the problem went away. This fall, for storage purposes, I added some fuel stablizer to about 2-gallons of gas, and put the mower away for the winter. A couple of months have passed and today, I went out to start the mower to move it out the way and it just would not turn over. I took the battery out and charged it (charged ok) and put it back in the mower and now when I turn the key, nothing, no sound nothing! I have connected the (+) and (-) negative terminals correctly. Any ideas? Could this be a fuse?
