If the card is completely unrecognisable and you can't format it then the memory chip inside the card has failed. This is unfixable, the card is dead and the photos are lost. Time for a new card.

I took pictures with my Pentax K10D camera, using a Kingston SD HC 16 GB card. Throughout the picture taking session I constantly viewed the images and occasionally deleted a few. These were all indoor...

Did you try to change the date? either on the camera or on the computer... it might be that otherwise data won't get recognized if the date range is too far out. If you really deleted it from the card, I am afraid it's really gone. If you look at the card via "My computer" and do a detailed file list with details and dates, you might still find the missing data. Good luck.

Pc will not recognize coolpix s3300 camera

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

KINGSTON 4GB MEMORY SD CARD

Check if your camera can support a 4G card. Some don't support than 2GB. if it supports, re-insert the card.
PS. If you have a card reader. Formatting once from your computer can help.

No pictures found in camera

The computer recognizes the camera as removable drive. Check "My Computer" for a drive that you haven't seen before. this will be your camera, and the files should be accessable. Failing that, your computer may not recognize the camera at all. The problem then, is in the computer's software.
