Yahoo changed the email service and sent users several emails regarding this service change. Unfortunately, it cannot be changed back to the original. Many people wish this could happen, but it wont.

Sorry about that.

Ymail problem

windows 7 clean fresh install or what,? is it the ms win7 downloaded ISO new or some old ISO missing all SP and all 350 updates, only the new ISO is ok to use or nothing but bad awaits.
is this web mail if yes, what is the browser (hundreds exist)
IE?

what is ymail.? ahhhhhh its yahoo.(With an odd interface)
can i assume you use the ymail web log in and not run a local client email app>? big difference there.
btw ymail is now officially dead. (not for you, but new accounts)
(they are imploding it, like a slow leak in a tire)

ok its a service offered by yahoo mail. no fixya
why not ask them ? directly.
my guess is the yahoo needs its own plugins
so what browser is this, IE11 is the only safe IE, run that?
do not run older IE ever, none are safe,
if fact most web sites are blocking all old IE now, for good reasons. (its not safe)
id use Firefox v56, and dump IE like a hot nasty potato IMO.

then get ymail setup from them ask them.
it is there system and only the make the rules.

searches show:
wiki on this says.
the account for YMail can be made through the usual Yahoo Mail page. When logging in, a user will have to make sure to append the whole email address in the 'Yahoo ID' box,
more wiki, ever do like searching for answers?
Access Issues You can't access your account if you use the wrong password or mistype the password. Sometimes old site data can prevent access.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies and try again. Additionally, Yahoo ended registrations for new Ymail addresses in April 2013. Whenever a Yahoo account is inactive more than 12 months, the company deactivates the account. If your account has been deactivated, you can't reactivate it or set up a new account with a Ymail address.
i have no idea at all if ymail uses active X controls, the dome idea. now.

I cannot access my mail

Ymail is part of Yahoo Mail. In order to provide users with more combinations for email addresses, Yahoo introduced another email extension called Ymail. Ymail accounts look like [email protected]. Ymail allows users whose desired email address was already taken to create their desired address and still have all the same features as Yahoo Mail. Accessing a Ymail account is quick and easy and can be done from any web browser.

1. Create a Ymail account, if you don't already have one. Open a browser window and type "http://mail.yahoo.com" and click "Sign Up" under "Don't Have a Yahoo ID?" section.
Fill in the appropriate information in each blank in section 1. This section is for your name, gender, birthday and location.
In section 2, choose a Yahoo ID/email address. In the drop down box beside the email address text box, choose "ymail.com." Press "Check" to see if the email address is available. If it's not available for use, choose another address, but keep the "ymail.com" domain the same.
Choose two security questions in section 3. This are necessary in case you forget your password. The alternate email address is optional.
Type in the security code at the bottom of the screen and press "Create My Account."

2. Open a browser window and type "http://mail.yahoo.com" to access the Ymail login screen.

3.Type your full email address in the "YahooID" box. Be sure to include the "@ymail.com" or the address will not be recognized. Using the full address distinguishes Ymail accounts from Yahoo or Rocketmail accounts.

4. Type your password in the "Password" box. Your password is case sensitive. Press "I Can't Access My Account" if you've forgotten your password. You can either have the password sent to another email address or change it altogether after answering the security questions you set up during the account creation process.

5. Press "Sign In" to access the Ymail account.

I want my old ymail back now

Unfortunately Yahoo changed the mail layout for good. Although there are several complaints regarding the service, it's highly doubtful that they will change it back.

Sorry about that.

I closed my account at Ymail.com BUT NOW THEY ARE FORWARDING MAIL TO MY NEW ACCOUNT WHICH I DID NOT GIVE THEM; AND WHICH I WNAT TO STOP! HOW TO STOP THIS????

Does the new account have the same username? ie. was your old mail ID [email protected] and is your new one [email protected]? If so this could be the source of the problem. If the problem still persists, delete your new account too and utilise a totally different email service provider

Deleted account and now i want it back with all emails

Most of mail services will terminate and delete after 3 months (if you don't sign in for 3 months). And it's not possible to give it back!
