Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
"F06" is a motor speed error code. The following link explains the error in detail:
Read through the information thoroughly and perform all the recommended procedures for eliminating possible problems. If you cannot find anything obvious, and if the error code persists, unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. Sometimes momentary glitches can be "cured" by resetting the control board.
The most common failure for this error code is the Motor Control Unit (MCU). You will need to doublecheck everything, however, to be sure.
Replacement parts, if needed, can be located at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your complete model number to search for parts. The MCU and Drive Motor can be located under the "Pump and Motor Parts" heading as items number 1 and 16, respectively. For cost comparisons, repairclinic.com also carries parts for your washer and may have them at a better price.
I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you require additional assistance.
