No, the key is the only way to open the safe should the batteries fail or you forget the combination.

Opening my safe when the batteries are low

Without the details of the safe this is very difficult to answer, however most safes have a hidden key slot beneath a clip off panel, If you haven't got a key you would have to resort to a locksmith to pick the override key slot.

How do I open a Gary Safe with dead batteries

Hello there,

You SHOULD have a mechanical key to open it in case of emergencies like this..
If you purchased it, you will have the key friend.

'The electronic lock provides security and easy access and it is equipped with a mechanical key for emergency access. The door is 9 Gage and the body is 14 Gage steel to resist break-ins.'

If it is lost, you need a locksmith.

I HAVE A 20ES THE BATTERY IS DEAD; WHERE DO I OPEN IT TO CHANGE THE BATTERY

The battery is located within the door panel where there is a slot to open to replace the battery. Use the security key to open and remove the battery holder, if the battery has leaked then you need to wash with spirit and clean the terminals before the new one is set within.

I have a bunker hill safe #93575, the battery is getting low. is there any thing i need to know about changing the batterys

Change batteries ASAP because if your batteries die you will be unable to get into the safe without the key. The batteries are located inside the safe. If you can't open the safe, you can't replace the batteries!!!

There are NO replacement keys available for model #45891. We've tried. I would NOT buy this safe again for these reasons.!!!

I cannot open safe with my manual over ride key. Battery in device is dead.

Hi Again! Seems you'll have to contact the service centre to replace the inner battery. the safe is not only dependent on keys & passwords, but also the battery.
Let me know what happens! I hope I was helped you & that this post is helpful to you at most! Don't forget to rate! ;)

Batteries are dead can't open safe

I had the same problem. We finally located where the batteries were hidden. They were below the keypad, There is a silver, plastic cover that slides to the right to expose the 4 AA batteries. Hope this helps you.
