Without the details of the safe this is very difficult to answer, however most safes have a hidden key slot beneath a clip off panel, If you haven't got a key you would have to resort to a locksmith to pick the override key slot.

The battery is located within the door panel where there is a slot to open to replace the battery. Use the security key to open and remove the battery holder, if the battery has leaked then you need to wash with spirit and clean the terminals before the new one is set within.
Change batteries ASAP because if your batteries dieyou will be unable to get into the safe without the key. The batteries are located inside the safe. If you can't open the safe, you can't replace the batteries!!!
There are NO replacement keys available for model #45891. We've tried. I would NOT buy this safe again for these reasons.!!!
Hi Again!

the safe is not only dependent on keys & passwords, but also the battery.
Let me know what happens!

I had the same problem. We finally located where the batteries were hidden. They were below the keypad, There is a silver, plastic cover that slides to the right to expose the 4 AA batteries. Hope this helps you.
