Question about Toshiba Satellite M35-S359 Notebook
Hello, and thanks for opportunity.
HD if sine, sometimes it start, most don't.
A freiend -technician (experienced, very much, but not expert) said it is the mother board and "maybe also the battery...)
Please help what shall i do with tiny budget?
Toshiba laptops tend to have a problem with the a leg of a chip detaching from the motherboard. The symptom is that the laptop powers on, but no video on the LCD and/or external monitor, also hd light does not show any status, you can check by twisting firmly and holding the base of the laptop, but not breaking the laptop and powering it on, in most cases it will start powering on as it normally would until you let the pressure off the base (twist). This problem seems to happen right after 1 year and warranty is up.
It is sometimes possible to fix this problem by soldering the leg of the chip back on to the motherboard. The problem is that there are many chips and hundreds of legs, altho 50% change it can be done and should last for another year.
