A printer is not a storage device, so you can't store mails there. You could try to print the mails, but for that you need any connection, running over WiFi or USB.
Both connections have to be setup first. and can cost some extra parts.
Printer would not feed paper no matter how many sheets were in the bin or how clean the printer. I even cleaned the roller. The issue was I just needed a little more tension on the roller that pulled the paper in.
I removed the rear access door (see manual). Off to the left near the feeder roller you will see a spring. What I did is mover the spring to the END of the plastic arm that it is attached to (if it is missing ..you have a bigger problem). If you have moved your printer around a bit, the spring may have slipped down on to the arm and is no longer sitting at the end. This will extend the spring another 1/16 of an inch ...and that is all all it took for me. My printer will now feed a single sheet of paper with no issues. BTW: I put a drop of glue on it after so it would not slip off.
You can reinstall the drivers. The application list will be reinstalled by doing so. When you scan something, it needs to store (or open) in a particular application (like Word, .pdf etc). Your computer might have some applications but your printer driver is not reading them. Easiest way is to reinstall the printer driver
if you wan to print an email . go to the actually web page ...and try from there ...do not try to print from outlook cause it has an encoding that might not be read by the printer ...specially for attachments ... if you wan t to print an attach ment ..save it in the computer first ... if you want the whole page ...print it from the website of the email service ...and use file(left -top) and print ...for yahoo for example you can print from the page directly by using the print job on the right corner of your email ...Im sure that for about any email service there is a thing like this ... in sort ...usually is best to save any file that ya want to print into the computer before..
If you are tired of doing the handcopying, and mailing it using USPS and want to try to resolve your scanning issue please share some information about your issue. Can you scan from the computer using MS Word, or any scan compliant Software ?. Can you scan from the computer to a file or document. If you can scan successfully, you have the option of attaching the scanned document as an attachment to your email.
Also let me know what email software do you have installed.
Your quick fix here would be to take your picture and the email address to a staples or similar store and use their equipment to email the scan that u do there.
As far as using your own printer, the first question is does yout printer also have a scan function? If no then you can't do what u hope to do on it. If yes, then you need the printer disk. Put it in your printer and load the software for the printer, then you should be up and running.
