Sorry, I assumed you assumed I had a reader. That's not my problem. When I insert it into the USB, it says the card is not formatted. When I tell it to format, Windows comes back and says it was unable to format it.

You could either buy a reader and format it that way, or format it within a device. Those are pretty much your only options. If you bring it to a best buy or some sort of electronics store they might be able to do it for you. Possibly for free too. Good Luck.

    I see.

I don't know if I can help you then, I would say you still might want to go over to a electronics store and ask them, but I had a problem like this and it was because I had previously formatted it for something else, but somehow it locked the card up so I couldn't use it on anything except a single device.

Hi, I have an Acer X275 SFF PC [ps.vame3.210] I need to install a graphics card with HDMI and VGA but whilst the PC has a PCI-E slot it needs to have a very slim graphics card as the fan or heat sinks on...

I believe Radeon has a decent line of Thin Format graphics cards but I'm not sure about having PCI-E format. Most of the newer cards on the market are AGP and AGP II slotted. I haven't looked at them in the past year since I got out of the business but I used Radeon in the Thin Bodies I worked on and built at that time.

Is the card adapter compatible with your version of OS? Have you got drivers for the reader?
Browse Sandisk.com for drivers and information
Hope that helps.

Computer not reading memory card :(

I will assume you have rebooted and that the reader is enabled. Do you have any mapped drives? If so try to remap so you have Drive F & G available.

Compaq SR2041X does not read SDHC card

Possibly a band Reader.. one thing you can do is test to see if it reads other types of memory cards such as panasonic or kingston. If those do not work then it may be a bad card reader..

Flash drive storage

Re-format it from Windows.
Go to my computer.
You will see all disks including removable flash drive.
Click right button on flash drive icon.
A menu will drop down chose format option.
Do not do fast format , chose a complete format.
If you cannot solve the problem in this way then the flash drive is either .
Some Chinese export companies are selling corrupt or counterfeit flash drives of 4, and 8 Gigs, they lose FAT integrity after a while, and when re-formated won't work properly or will work only for a while.
In this case return item to retailer.

Just got an ACER Aspire AS5720Z notebook. It has a 5-in-1 card reader. I have a memory Stick Pro Duo card that is extremely small. The manual says the card reader will read it. There is NO eject button...

Hi, the memory Stick Pro Duo card is (micro), half size as you have noticed you need to buy an SD adapter card. You put your Pro Duo card into the SD card & than put it into your card reader.
Once you see the SD adapter card on the web site you'll understand. You can buy this at a local BestBuy. Most web sites sell the adapter as a combo, you'll get a micro card & adapter.
Click the link below.
http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=Stick+Pro+Duo+adapter+only&um=1&ie=UTF-8
Look at SanDisk 2GB Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo w/Adapter
& you will understand.

Have more questions? Just ask.
Good Luck & Have a Great Day!
