Some of these units have a kinda clip on the bottom If its been a while since its been serviced it may take a little kick to get it off. You shuld be ablt ot pull it down a bit and then pull out from the bottom. Or perhaps a but of hat water along hte edges will help .. Clean it carefully and don't get any electrical wet . Jon

Unit leaking water from bottom onto the floor

I know how to fix this problem, I fixed mine. The design of this unit is flawed in two ways, and you should fix both. Start by removing the back panel - just remove all the phillips head screws (you have to take out the screen filter as some of the screw heads are otherwise hidden). You will see that there is a "drain" system" (little notch cutout above the small water catcher with a tiny drainhole at the bottom) CAREFULLY drill a quarter inch hole about a quarter to half inch below the notch - drill just through the plastic, not into the fins behind. This will allow the water to properly drain. Secondly, on the lower right is the "air intake condenser" - I dont know why but they didnt put a filter on this so mine was caked with black junk after three years of use. Clean it best you can, use a brush to get between the fins and cut a $1 generic A/C filter to size and insert it. Finally, make SURE that the unit tilts backwards just little. I put a double folded towel uner the front casters. Drainage is critical as is the evaporator. Otherwise there is no chance this unit will keep the floor dry for more than about 3 years of ongoing use. Goodluck!!

The problem is in the lines that run from indoor to outdoor unit.
You need to make sure all lines are slightly sloping towards outdoor unit
