Yes there should be a samll board that has the supply module on it it's the one with the direct link to the chord this board has a solid state module. if it doesn't on this model it should be the one on the main board that is directly linked to the small board.

Needs a new fuse. Where do I put it?

Fuse is on the power supply board ( where the power cord attaches) some fuses just pop up and the new one pops back in. Be sure the TV is unplugged from the wall before replacing a fuse. Other fuses are soldered in but thats getting rare most just pop out of their holder which is soldered to the board. I am attaching a picture of your power supply the orange arrow is pointing to the fuse which is white.

Where is My Philips 32pfl3505d f7 LCD TV fuses

I assume you are referring to the ac fuse, it is located on the power supply board. Just follow the ac power cord and it should lead you to it. If your set doesn't have a built in power cord, the fuse will be next to the power cord connector.

No power at all, no lights, nothing.

Hi Judd,

First of all, thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.

If there's no LED light at the front panel, this is an indication that the power supply of your unit is dead. My first advice is to check the AC source (outlet). Plug the TV's power cord's to a known working outlet to ensure that the fault not came from the AC source. If you are using a surge protector, bypass it and directly plug the TV to the outlet.

If still the symptoms persist, I would advice you to check the continuity of the internal glass fuse of the power supply board using a multimeter set in resistance measurement. This board is where the power cord's directly connected. Sometimes, fuse fail due to power surge, voltage fluctuation, and/or aging, if this is the case, replacing with same current (ampere) rating resolve the issue. Glass/ceramic fuse is widely available at electronics store.

However, if the new fuse blew again, this is an indication of more serious problem. I would advice you to replaced the entire board rather than troubleshoot it because the cost is almost the same. Click HERE to order online. Replacing this board is not technical and no soldering required. Unplug the unit from the outlet overnight, open the rear cover, familiarize all connectors from the power supply board and then disconnect them, unscrew the board, put in the new board and replaced the connectors and your done.

Hope I helped you.

Again, thank you so much!

Rating and feedback are highly appreciated!

Good luck and take care!

After i turn the tv on after a while it just shuts the picture and audio shut down the blue light indicating the power is still on but no audio or video

I have had this problem before and found a loose connection on the power supply module on C310 next to T1 transformer. If you have soldered before you should have on problem. Just take the back off the set and the power module is the one that has the AC cord hookup. Search for C310 and remove the module via screws and unplug it and turn it upside down to the solder side of the board at the C310 location looking for the loose connection there. If you can't see it then solder it anyway and try turning the set back on after putting the board back plugged up and all. Use electronic rosin core solder and a good soldering iron that will get hot enough to do the job. If this is not the problem then suspect an open T3 in the inverter circuit. This is a transformer. T3 may be available by calling Westinghouse by looking on the internet for the manufacturer. Changing it will require using solder wick to remove the transformer and clean the holes to put in a new on. Otherwise if you cannot get T3 the whole board would need to be replaced via manufacturer or try to find on on Ebay doing a search with the model number. Also try Shop Jimmy .com or just a google search

Lost power completely

If you are comfortable with working in tv circuit boards then unplug tv from AC wall socket, take off back of tv and follow AC cord going inside tv that will take you to power supply board, check fuse on power supply board, replace it with same rating written on it if it found blown.
Replug tv back in wall socket and check if it turns On.
If still problem not solved then power supply board is defective and need to be replaced.
Local tv repair shop will help you if you think its not safe for you to work inside tv.
Hope these info will help you.
Thanks.

How do I replace the FL231 fuse on the circuit board, removal and re-soldering I was told this will fix the convergence issue and that the convergence module is not bad.

Yes, but before powering the set back on you must fix the original issue that caused it to open. The high voltage transformer location LL008 will need to be un-soldered and all pins and pads cleaned. Then re solder the pins to the pads with solder. The original solder was lead free but it tended to crack after it heated up thus causing the intermittent connection and then opening the 400ma fuse to the convergence panel. The fuse is no longer available, but I have included a link to be able to purchase it on ebay. Make sure you ONLY use the size fuse needed as anything higher could be a fire hazard. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

Sent a message earlier, but do not know if the model no. was correct for the message. Olievia Model no. 237-S11 will not power up. Is this hard to fix, where can I buy a power source module at a reasonable...

After taking the screws out and removing the back, you will see a power supply(where master switch and cord connector are). Remove the 4 screws on the aluminum cover plate to gain access to the fuse. Using a voltmeter, with the power on and switch on, measure the voltage on each side of the round fuse located just behind the cord connector. If voltage is 0, fuse is good. If voltage between 115 and 125 V, replace fuse or have fuse replaced. I think it is a 6.3Ah 250V class fuse that is soldered into the board. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH SOLDERING TECHNIQUES AND PRECAUTIONS, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS. IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY AWARE OF ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THIS REPAIR HAVE A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN DO IT FOR YOU!!!!!!

If a new power supply is needed, contact these people for repair with 1 year warranty.

RCA HD52W59 Convergence issues after some repairs.

Hello rmolen,

This is an indication that the convergence amps are drawing too much current which has an effect on the power supply and thus killing your sound by removing or lowering the voltage supplied to that stage, finally this results in the blowing of the fuse. I would suggest that you change the convergence amplifiers and the biasing resistors (All of them) and then see if this corrects your problem (I believe it will). Also get a schematic of the TV and try to find out how the power supply relates the sound module and the convergence module, they might share a common power bus, or the voltage regulator for the sound also feeds the convergence board.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,
