Cant locate satellites on my gps, i'm in baltimore out in the open clear sky view, and yet the gps does not acquire any satellite, i've done a hard reset a couple of times now but still no result

Your unit is trying to locate the satellites for location fix. If it cannot acquire the satellites in couple of minutes, you should move to a place where the unit has clear view to the skies.

Shut off the Receiver...

Press and hold Page + Menu + Power...

Then select "Yes" to erase all user data...

Leave it on with a clear view of the sky without moving for about 30 minutes to acquire the satellites.
