Question about HP Photosmart C7280 Laser Printer
When trying to allign the black bar at top of page will smear on the left side. When trying to print a regular page of black & color the first couple of pages will print OK and then the black starts to get lighter and the print becomes to light to read.
The printer was purchased in April of this year and is under extended contract. But if there is a quick fix I would like to get on with the printing.
This could be the Fuser Assembly. The Fuser is the unit that heats up and makes the toner ahere to the paper. The fact that it is smearing, means that the Fuser is not heating correctly. I would call for service on it.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
