P2RAXYG-126L Pump I'd like to know about failure modes and likely replacement parts for this pump. The motor is turning and making pretty much the same noise it always has, but there's only a trickle of water coming out of the jets. I'm guessing the impeller failed somehow, but I'm not aware of any broken pieces being ejected. Is it likely that I can just buy a new impeller and replace it? I didn't want to take the entire pump apart because I'll have to empty the (wood) hot tub first and I don't want it to dry out.

It turned out that I should have taken your advice before I ordered the parts. When I opened up the pump it turned out that it had ingested a large piece of a 4 mil plastic dropcloth. I removed the plastic and it was fine. I paid a 15% restocking fee and sent the impeller back.

You will need to pull the front cover off the pump housing in order to inspect the impeller. It is possible that it has failed and just needs to be replaced.

I need to know what impeller goes with a Q3072 .75hP motor.

The impeller is matched to the pump "wet end". That's the part of the pump that is not the motor. A given motor will mount with several pump housings from different manufacturers. You need to identify the MFR and model of the pump.
I noticed that you have a three phase motor. These are pretty rare in residential installations. Be absolutely sure your system is wired for three phase.

My Pentair Whisperflo pump is making a loud screeching noise while running. What could be the problem?

Inside the pump is a set of bearings that help the components of the motor run smoothly. When they become clogged with dirt and debris or wear down, your pool pump may get very noisy or stop working altogether. This high pitched squealing you are hearing is fairly consistent with bearing failure.
t might be best to have the motor seperated from the pump housing and take it to your local pool outlet or motor shop. Installation of the bearings will be a breeze for them and make sure that no damage is done to the shaft of while the new bearings are being installed. At this time, they can also inspect the motor and make sure that there are no other problems with the pool motor.
Also, you should ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS replace the shaft seal whenever you take the pool pump motor apart. This will ensure a positive seal for the motor and minimize the opportunity for leaks to occur.

Replacing the bearings in your pool motor:

1. Turn off power to your pool pump by unplugging it from the power source or by turning off the circuit breaker. 2 Remove the plumbing from the pump. Take off the unions on the suction and discharge side using a wrench. Loosen the pool pump from the fitting holding it to the ground and move it to a comfortable area to work in. 3 Remove the housing from the pool pump and separate it from the motor. Look at the owner's manual for your pump to see the specifics on how to remove the pool pump housing, since each model is different. Usually you will need to loosen a bolt with a socket wrench and loosen the metal band that holds it in place. 4 Remove the four bolts that hold the pump together. These are located on the hand bell of the frame. Remove the motor end bells. 5 Pull out the motor armature to expose the ball bearings. Insert your ball bearing puller to pull out the old ball bearings. Inspect them for damage. Replace the old ball bearings with new ones after greasing them with bearing grease, and reassemble the pump.
To be honest with you, I don't even let our technicians replace the bearings in the field anymore. It is a little difficult and really, how many people have a "ball bearing puller" laying around their house.

*Please note, this should ONLY be attempted if you are comfortable with the instructions and taking apart the pump, have the necessary parts and tools to make the repair, and are familiar with ensuring that everything is back together properly!

WHEN I TURN ON THE DISHWASHER WATER COMES IN BUT IT JUST HUMNS REALY LOUD. OPENED THE BOTTOM AND LOOKED AND SEE FAN BLADES STOP AND TURN STOP AND TURN SLOWLY.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Just os you know there are 12 models of this dishwasher and you only gave a partial model number. It is missing several digits after the last G. The symptom you describe would be applicable to all 12 models.

There are a few things that can cause this symptom.
1. Debris in the motor pump impeller (Things like toothpicks or small bones / bone fragments)
2. The motor pump seal has failed letting water into the motor bearings.

^--- These are the 2 most common reasons.

Take a look under the motor pump assembly for the tell tale signs of water dripping onto the floor under the dishwasher. (stains or a circular soap pattern) If you see a water or a soap stain on the floor the motor pump seal has failed and the only remedy is replacement of the motor pump assembly.

There is a possibility that the impeller is jammed with something but if the unit is 4 or more years old, most likely is the motor pump seal has failed causing subsequent motor bearing failure. It is best to remove the motor pump assembly for any attempt at clearing foreign debris from the pump impeller. Also look for a broken impeller blade during the clearing / cleaning process. If you thnk the motor can be salavaged make sure to lunricate the bearings with a paraffin based oil. We use the "Zoom Spout" Olier

available at most LOCAL appliance parts sources.

Water pump failure?

The water pump drain motor has something stuck in it or it has gone bad like most LG parts.
Remove the drain pump and look for any foreign object to be removed.
Check the drain pump for a failed pump motor.
LG is pretty.

It is likely a motor failure. You may be able to take it to a local electric motor repair shop but most of those motors are not economical to repair. You can replace the motor and pump seal for far less than the whole pump. If you would like a quote on the parts, try us at www.arrowpools.net

LG washing machine keeps stopping and it says OE

The LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly. Check the exit hose, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Subaru loyale wagon replacing the timing belt

Get a proper manual like Haynes (amazon, parts store, Haynes.com).  You should not have to take either main pullel or cam pulley off to change timeing belt,  you DO want a new tensioner and and new idler pulley (if there is one).  Failure to replace these may result in a later failure that wipes out the blet, and possibly the motor (if it is an interference motor).
If you can change the oil pump from working on the front side of the motor, you are either a magician or a contortionist;!) and I need you to help me work on my car;~)    It's pretty rare for an oil pump to go bad before 400K km or 300K miles  ... the bloddy things are in a constant bath of oil!

Pump humms but won't pump water out

It sounds like the pump motor or the impeller may be damaged. The "F02" error code is usually attributed to a pump failure or clog somewhere in the drain system. If you have made sure that the drain lines and pump reservoir are clean, and the pump still does not run properly, I would replace it. The first link explains the "F02" error and how to check the pump.

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615268-f02_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

This second link explains how to replace the drain pump:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r401845-replacing_drain_pump_whirlpool_duet

A replacement pump can be found at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and the pump can be found under the "Pump and Motor Parts" heading as item number 10 (part #8181684). This is a simple repair. Just read through the instructions thoroughly before starting any repairs. If you need further assistance, please let me know. If you do not wish to purchase parts on line, use the part number provided and take to your nearest appliance parts retailer. I hope this is helpful to you.
