I respectfully suggest you be a bit more specific about your problem. Do you need to know how to attach photos to emails, or maybe how to get the photos from the camera to your computer?

blurring occurs not depending on ISO, i think the lens is the problem. try to clean the lens glass carefully, is there some grease stick on the lens? if not it might be dislocated one of the lens structure.

How do I E-Mail Photos from my Olympus fe-290 on a dell laptop with winows vista. I do have the USB cord, thanks you

method 1 without photo management software:

To e-mail pictures from your camera with your laptop just hook up the camera to your laptop
and widows should come up with a menu asking you what you want to do with this device.
choose open folder to view files this should make the cameras media show up on the desktop.
You should also be able to see the media on the camera under my computer removable storage.
Or if it shows up here as a camera just right click and choose explore device. With most cameras
thier should be a folder called DCIM your pictures should be in this directory. Some cameras may
have subdirectories like video and thumnails in this directory also.

Once you've found the pictures, open you e-mail client or web mail and create a new e-mail. Open the attachment button. this should bring up a file manager that will allow you to find your pictures and select the ones you want to send. Some e-mail programs will have a white clipboard area beside the attachment button. If the e-mail client your using does, then you can just drag and drop
the pictures here to attach them to your e-mail

If your sending large picture files say 6.0mp and up then don't send more than one to 3 per e-mail
otherwise it can chog up your e-mail client for several minutes to hours.

If you want to send many pictures or video files to friends and family members you might consider
Dropbox. This is an online backup and storage program that will allow to share files online.

Method 2 with photo management:

Photo management software can take alot of the manual process of getting photos from your camera and storing them on your hard drive, fixing lighting, fixing red eye, fixing orientation,
tagging, organizing and other things you may want to do with your photos and automating the
process. Some of these have either the ability to create web albums or email pictures directly
from the photo management software. I personally like Picasa from Google

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD PICS FROM DIGITAL CAMERA AND SEND TO FAMILY MEMBERS

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Once the pictures are on your computer, you can attach them to email the same way you attach any other file.

I've got two good sized black spots on my LCD screen. They don't show up in the photos, but are a nusance.

It sounds like this is a common problem with this model. The lcd screen on my SD870 IS developed a large area of dead pixels a few months after I bought it new. A family member with the same camera had the exact same problem.

These are family photos accidently deeted by my

What sort of media? SD card? There are many undelete utilities and services out there. Pick a reputable source like cnet.
e.g. http://download.cnet.com/Undelete-SD-card/3000-2242_4-201454.html
Install software and card and run the undelete software.

Cannot recognize my camera in the PC

First, check to make sure your usb cord is not damaged and has firm contact in both the usb slot on your PC and the slot on the camera. If everything is OK there try re-installing the software.

Now, if none of this works, that does not necessarily mean the camera is the problem. If you have another PC or can use a family member or friends, then try connecting to a different machine. If the problem is the same then you may need to have the camera checked out (but don't run off just yet, I'm not finished).

The above should tell you if the problem is the camera or the computer. If it is the computer, you should do a thorough cleaning and optimzation of your PC and then check things out. If it is the camera, try transfering your images to the SD Card and use your PC to read the card.

As far as the camera goes, you should still try and make sure all connections are good and firm and your batteries are fresh and strong before spending money on a repair.

Photo size too large for email

You can do that in 2 ways.

1) Shoot the photo or video in reduced size (less quality). This can achieved by adjusting the settings in your camera.

2) Use 3rd party software like photoshop or Microsoft paint to manually reduce the size using it.

Regarding it not working once it's disconnected from the computer.... I called tech support and they said it's a bad battery/faulty charger since I had let it charge for 7 hours and did everything else suggested, so I took it back to the store, exchanged it for another one and it works fine. So if this is a problem, and you did everything else correct, it is probably a bad one, go try another and if a 2nd one doesn't work, I would forget it. I wouldn't have tried a 3rd time. I guess it's a common problem.
