GPRS, MMS and other features are all depended on the network you are using. Every network got unique settings and they are sent to your mobile via a push sms. That stores all the settings automatically.
So All in All, you need to call your network. Talk to a Customer Service Representative and ask him/her for the settings. Its a matter of minutes and you will be on-line.

I WANT TO USE NEPAL'S GSM SIM IN SOFTBANK 740SC.
If your Softbank 740SC is UNLOCKED, you should have no problem with this 3G/GSM phone.
If the phone was bought as a pre-paid/subsidised unit, then it would be locked and, if you are the original owner with proof of purchase, you can try requesting the Network Unlock Code from the original service and phone provider.

the setting is dipending on your SIM card

a better way is contact your SIM customer care to ask about GPRS/MMS/3G setting
